Live Bronze Pour & Sculpture Sponsor 2020 Launch

Join us for what is always one of our most popular events of the year!  Our Live Bronze Pour is an opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at the lost wax casting technique Charles Umlauf used for his bronze works.

Our friends at Deep In The Heart Art Foundry will take visitors through the stages of creating a bronze sculpture, culminating in a live bronze pour! 

We’ll also be celebrating the launch of our 2020 Sculpture Sponsor program! Sculpture Sponsors are instrumental in keeping our bronzes cleaned, waxed, and conserved for our Touch Tours serving those who are blind and visually impaired, expanding our Shaping Space program providing art education to underserved communities in elementary schools and community centers, and ensuring that the UMLAUF is accessible to everyone.
