Join us for a very special, fundraiser edition of the UMLAUF Excursion to visit the largest private collection of Charles Umlauf's sculptures and drawings....while supporting our water conservation efforts! Collectors Bill & Mary Mitchell live on a stunning Hill Country ranch with more than 30 Umlauf sculptures and drawings beautifully arranged throughout their garden and home. We are fortunate to be invited to their Dripping Springs ranch to view this incredible private collection and see works both familiar and unseen. On this Excursion you’ll hear from curator Katie Robinson Edwards, landscape architect Ciel Williams, collector Bill Mitchell, and UMLAUF Director of Operations, Chris Seebach.
Your ticket purchase includes round-trip transportation from the UMLAUF to Star Canyon Ranch, a catered lunch from Royal Fig, fine wine, an exclusive tour of the Mitchells' private home, and a special tour of the Mitchells' private 5000 square foot building dedicated to rain water retention.

Each ticket price helps toward matching a grant we received from the Austin Parks Foundation for rainwater retention at the UMLAUF. You'll have an additional opportunity to make a further donation toward the UMLAUF's rainwater conservation project.
